Approbation des études d’exécution, le suivi et le contrôle des travaux du transfert des eaux du barrage d’Oued Athmania vers la station de pompage d’Ain Kercha dans la Wilaya d’Oum el Bouaghi

The primary objective of the geological and geotechnical study was to assess the availability and suitability of granular materials for use in the project. The investigation focused on materials obtained from the excavation of the areas planned for the pipelines, including permanent and temporary excavations, as well as potential borrow areas that could provide the required granular materials for pipeline bedding and surrounding works, with an estimated volume of approximately 1.5 million m³.
The study also addressed several other geological and geotechnical aspects of the project. These included the progress of excavation works at the Ain Kercha and Oued Seguin pumping stations, where excavation for the main pump hall buildings was underway, as well as the possible presence of geological faults identified through the geotechnical investigations of Sections A2 and A3. In addition, the progress of excavation works for the Ouled Hamla stabilisation basin was assessed.
