Etude d’exécution de la protection des talus sur la rive droite et du tunnel des Ouvrages de Dérivation de l’Oued Djer (Wilaya de Blida) – Algerie

The project involved the transfer of 21 million m³ of water per year from Oued Djer to the existing Al Moustakhbal Dam, completed in 1987 and retaining the waters of Oued Bou Roumi. The project aimed to strengthen the water supply of the city of Algiers and support irrigation within the Western Mitidja area, covering approximately 24,000 ha.
The water transfer system comprised an intake structure, a desander, a pumping station designed for a nominal flow rate of 3 m³/s, a DN 1500 mm pressure pipeline and a 2.50 m diameter tunnel, providing the required water transfer capacity to the dam.
