The geological study focused on key geological aspects of the project, including the investigation and assessment of a cavity encountered during excavation works on the right bank, the geological conditions of the grouting and drainage gallery on the right bank, and the geological logging and interpretation of the control boreholes carried out as part of the investigation and monitoring works.

The study provided geological input for the assessment of the subsurface conditions encountered during construction and supported the monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing works.
